June 6;; Kyra; I'm going to be busy all this month and for the first week or so of July, so please don't mind the fact that I'm gone, okay? :3 Feel free to roleplay without me, and I'll post whenever I can.
April 10;; Kyra; Sorry for disappearing on you guys ^^; I'll get back to work now. xD
March 3;; Kyra; Change of plans. The Fallen is being revamped :D
March 2;; Kyra; This site is long since dead, so I'll be closing it. :) All members apart from myself will be deleted and I'm going to just drop everything and leave this forum. Unless I come up with a reason to keep it or convert it to a new roleplay. Maybe. Anyway, see you around! (you can find me at SC if you need to).

Welcome;;
Welcome to the Fallen! Only the bravest and wisest warriors will make it through, so be prepared to change allegiances or face failure... Five Clans. One code. One destiny.
Events;;
Not much has been going on of late. Tensions between EmberClan and SmokeClan are at the highest they've been in moons, and the other Clans expect some sort of showdown at the upcoming Gathering.

Fivemoons The Clans gather at Fivemoons every month for a temporary truce during the full moon. Fivemoons is deep under the ground, in an underground cavern large enough to fit the whole of a Clan- or the five patrols of cats from each Clan. A hole that reaches from the clearing above down through the cavern ceiling lets in the moonlight, which is reflected of the unusual crystal in the center of the cavern. The crystal reflects the moonlight on to the walls of the cavern- five moons. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

Icefalls A waterfall can be found just past the edges of Clan territory. This waterfall is cold, colder than any other water for miles, hence the name of Icefalls. A hidden path leads into a small cave behind the waterfall, where medicine cats meet each half-moon and where StarClan's presence is strongest. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Outcasted Lands (3 sub-boards) The outcast lands lie south of the eastern hills- southeast of the Clan territories. They are barren, huge, and lonely. If one does not know where to look, it is quite unlikely that they would meet another cat. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Northern Cliffs (1 sub-board) The mountainous cliffs that rise up into the northern sky seem much farther from Clan territory than they really are. Yes, it's a trip that would take more than a day, but the loners and rogues that live here find that to be to their advantage. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Eastern Hills (1 sub-board) The eastern hills are a cause for fear if you ask any cat, Clan or otherwise. Rats, dogs, and monsters all roam just past the crests of the first few hills, hidden until it's too late. Many a cat has disappeared into the hills, never to return. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

SmokeClan Territory
SmokeClan Camp The SmokeClan camp is smack dab in the middle of the woods that make up their territory. A tall, overgrown bush makes up the bulk of the warriors' den, and since it's large enough for twice as many warriors, part of the bush is sectioned off to form the apprentices' den. The nursery was more artificial: when the Clans first came to the forest, they found the remains of an old Twoleg nest that had long since fallen down. Most of the pieces were gone, leaving only a faint outline of what it used to look like. A corner of the old nest forms a protective shield for the nursery's back walls, and the SmokeClan cats have reinforced both the original stone wall with branches as well as the new walls they added. The ground is mossy and soft and ferns have grown over the whole thing, making a secure place for the queens and kits. An old hollow log with plenty of space to spare makes a good elders' den. The leader addresses the Clan from the High Wall, another remnant of the old nest. The leader's den is nestled at the base, under a prickly thornbush. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Great Oak The Great Oak is a huge oak tree near the SkyClan border. Not only is it an easy place to catch birds, squirrels, and mice, but the medicine cats can collect oak leaves here. It's also great for climbing practice. The Great Oak is one of the best places to hunt in SmokeClan territory, even during leaf-bare. Types of Prey: Mice, squirrels, sparrows, thrushes, pigeons, and crows. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Brook The brook is a wide branch off of the main river, and it runs right past the SmokeClan camp before it gets shallower and shallower and eventually stops. The brook floods during heavy rains, but it has never reached the camp and poses little danger. The true danger is the river, which runs from SkyClan terra and into RainClan, and SmokeClan cats have to cross it to attend Gatherings. Luckily, there are stepping stones, but if the river gets too high, they are engulfed in the water, and everyone knows that SmokeClan cats don't like getting their paws wet. Types of Prey: Once in a while, you can see the silver fish that RainClan eats, but SmokeClan don't hunt them because they hate the wet. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Hollow The hollow is a small, flat clearing in the woods that make up SmokeClan terra. The ground is sandy and makes a great place to train. Prey tend to avoid this area, but there are birds nests in the trees nearby and birds aren't too hard to catch when you're a SmokeClan cat. Types of Prey: Sparrows, thrushes, and pigeons. The Borders If you head east along the well-trod paths, you'll soon find yourself at the SkyClan border, where the trees quickly peter out and disappear into wide, open land. If you go south instead, you'll come to the EmberClan border, where the trees shift to grassland. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

RainClan Territory
RainClan Camp The RainClan camp is hidden in the tall fauna of the tiny valley they live in. The camp is in fact, at the base of the Hill, the training area, and sandwiched between the Hill and another, steeper hill. A pair of big, overgrown bushes make up the warriors' and apprentices' dens, with plenty of room to spare. The nursery was formed from a bramble thicket, and the inside is swathed in moss and feathers and sparkly rocks. A small prickly thornbush makes up the elders' den. The leader addresses the Clan from the High Cliff, a small overcrop from the steeper hill. The leaders' den is a small indent in the hill, with a drape of moss hanging over the entrance. The Field The field is a big, wide-open space near the DustClan border. It is nice and grassy, and with plenty of prey year-round. There are also a lot of good herbs for the medicine cats to collect here, such as marigold and comfrey. Types of Prey: Mice, squirrels, sparrows, thrushes, crows, and the occasional rabbit. The River The river is the main body of water that crosses through the territory of all four Clans. It represents both life and death to RainClan, because their main source of food is found in the river, but when it bursts its banks, it is also a death trap for any cat that is unlucky enough to fall into the raging waters. This is the only place where RainClan can always find prey, year-round, and it rarely freezes completely. Types of Prey: Silver fish and the occasional pigeon Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Hill The hill is a tall, gently sloping hill that makes up part of the RainClan camp. The top is fairly large and flat, and along with the short, soft grass it makes an excellent place to train apprentices. Prey tend to avoid this area, though rabbits and birds occasionally come nearby. Most RainClan cats are too lazy to chase after them, however, so they leave them alone. Types of Prey: Sparrows, crows, and the occasional rabbit. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Borders The RainClan borders are obviously, if nothing else- the scent of fish ends just about there. To the north is SkyClan, with their highlands, and to the west is DustClan's marshes, where RainClan would be perfectly comfortable if given the chance. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

EmberClan Territory
EmberClan Camp The EmberClan camp lies out in the open, or, most of it, anyway. The warriors and apprentices usually sleep in a tight circle around the rest of the camp, acting as guards while also getting some shut-eye. Queens and kits reside under a small group of bushes, and the elders sleep in a hollow tree trunk. The leader has a bush of their own to sleep under, but can often be found sleeping among the warriors and apprentices. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Plains The plains are a huge swathe of grassland near the SmokeClan border. They are excellent hunting grounds, no matter the season, and also a popular place for training. Types of Prey: Rabbits, birds, mice, and the occasional hawk. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Cliffs The cliffs are considered strange by many not used to them. They rise right up out of the ground, an unusual sight not matched by any other geographical feature in Clan territory. Types of Prey: Rabbits, hawks, crows, and the occasional snake. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Pool A small pool lies hidden near the cliffs, difficult to find, especially if you don't know where to look for it. The water inside is crystal clear, untainted by mud. Tiny silver fish too small to fill one's stomach glitter in the sunshine, giving the pool an ethereal look. Seems too good to be true, huh? Duh. The water is contaminated, though by what no cat knows, and has been for generations. Any cat that is foolish enough to try drinking it will surely sicken and die, though there are tales of cats that survived. No one can prove the stories, however, and so the threat still holds. Types of Prey: The occasional bird. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Borders To the north, one would see that the grassland shifts to forest, and just past there is the SmokeClan boundary. To the southeast lies the DustClan wetlands, a place that EmberClan cats avoid at all costs. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

DustClan Territory
DustClan Camp The DustClan camp is in the wide-open, but because it is surrounding by marshland, it has never been attacked. Twolegs rarely come close either, as they sink right into the mud. The warriors' den is located in a patch of tall grasses & cattails; the center is flattened down, but the outer rim is a wall of fauna. The only downside is that the den is open to the rain. A sheltered bush provides a good apprentices' den, and a hollow tree makes a terrific elders' den. The Clan leader addresses the Clan from the High Branch, a low, thick branch of the only tree in the camp. The wide, deep roots of the tree make for a great medicine cat's den, because it is sheltered by the tree's foliage and the tall grass surrounding it. The leader's den is located slightly away from the rest of the dens, in a big bunch of cattails and other plants. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Marsh The marsh contains the camp, though it expands far enough that the prey isn't as wary of cats. Unlike the other Clans, who would hate tromping around in the mud, DustClan cats are well suited to it, and their wide paws enable them to hunt silently when other cats would be noisily squelching around. This is also an excellent source of watermint. Types of Prey: Frogs, sparrows, thrushes, crows, and the occasional squirrel. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Stream The stream branches off of the main river, and is a thin tendril of water. It tends to dry up during the hotter months of greenleaf and so the DustClan cats must go farther for clean water. It bleeds into the marsh, and from there the water gets too muddy to drink. Fish don't stray into the shallow stream, and rarely can you find any prey here. Types of Prey: Once in awhile, a sparrow or pigeon will show up. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Clearing The clearing is a dry, flat, sandy area near the southern edge: the only one, in fact. Foxes and badgers occasionally pass through, but rarely make their dens here, due to the overwhelmingly strong scent of cat. This makes for a terrific place to train apprentices, and prey is rare other than birds. Types of Prey: Sparrows, crows, pigeons, and the occasional hawk. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Borders To the west lies the EmberClan grasslands, and to the east the RainClan hills can be seen. DustClan cats don't much care for either, finding both territories to be much too dry, but the rabbits do look mighty tasty in leaf-bare... Moderator: ``the K Y R A

SkyClan Territory
SkyClan Camp The SkyClan camp is tucked away in a small, steep-edged valley in the hills that make up their terra. A huge, overgrown evergreen bush makes up the warriors' den, and the earth has been dug away in spots for nests. The apprentices' den is another, small bush beside the warriors' den with a similar make-up. The nursery is located in a big, prickly bramble bush, and the inner walls are reinforced with branches, to prevent any thorns from pricking the kits and queens. The elders' den is a hollow tree, which is a little ways away from the other dens. The leader addresses the Clan from the HighLedge, which acts as a "door" of sorts, blocking all but enough of the entrance to the leader's den for a cat to enter and exit. The den is tucked inside a hollow spot in one of the walls. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Plateau The plateau is a raised, flat hill near the border with SmokeClan. It is covered with long grasses that hide the rabbit warrens underneath. It is one of the best places to hunt in SkyClan territory, with a variety of prey that frequent the area. Types of Prey: Rabbits, mice, crows, sparrows, and the occasional hawk Moderator: ``the K Y R A

The Creek The creek is a long, thin tendril that branches off from the main river, which runs from DustClan territory through into SmokeClan. The creek ends in a little pool, and it tends to flood the lower land around it when it rains heavily. Sometimes there are small silver fish in the creek, but they rarely stray from the river. There is a patch of smooth stones by the edge of the creek that are warmed by the sun, and the creek is a popular hangout for SkyClan cats. Types of Prey: Sometimes in greenleaf, small silver fish. The Valley The valley is a larger valley than most of them: it is a large, flat space between the hills with soft earth and short grass. Warriors and apprentices train here because it is the ideal spot, and most prey is smart enough to avoid the clearing because of the strong cat-scent. Even so, every once in awhile, a rabbit will dash across or a bird will land for a snack. Types of Prey: Occasionally, rabbits, crows, and sparrows. Even less occasional, hawks that think small apprentices look tasty. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

StarClan
The StarClan Camp Do you miss your old cats that died in the roleplay? You can still roleplay them here. Be they kits or elders, the many cats of StarClan live in this camp, which is much bigger than it seems. It is never crowded in StarClan, nor is it cold or hot. Moderator: ``the K Y R A

StarClan's Hunting Grounds This is where the Clan cats meet with StarClan in their dreams, and where StarClan warriors hunt. Their hunting grounds can vary in appearance, but generally they look much like the living cat's territory. To a StarClan cat, they are empty plains, apart from their prey. Moderator: ``the K Y R A
